Welcome to this guide which gives details of paperwork in my collection and a list of railway companies from which material is wanted. My aim is to collect an item of printed paperwork from each UK railway company ever opened to add to the rail archive collection. All the railway companies from which I have examples of paperwork are in alphabetical order with the date of the document shown. After the date an alphabetical code indicates the type of paperwork held. The key to this code is shown on page 2. Most of the collection is now housed in the Bodleian Library at Oxford University, as part of the John Johnson Collection of transport literature. Details on how to access the collection are give at the end of the list and it is available to view the items if you register with the library.
